Where is this?
Nusa Lembongan near Bali offers world class scuba diving. We stayed 10 days there and had a privilege to work together and scuba dive with Blue Corner Dive. Diving in Nusa Penida / Nusa Lembongan is fabulous with coral reefs in pristine condition, underwater marine life very rich and obviously possibility to encounter big pelagic like the Manta Ray’s and Mola Mola’s (Oceanic sunfish).
What was the diving like?
I did around 5 days of diving there in order to get the resort a nice video that they could utilize in their promotions. Manta Point and Crystal bay are two sites which should be explored when you are diving there. Also north from Nusa Penida there are very nice reefs and the water temperature warmer (28-29 Celsius) for diving where as in southern part of Nusa Penida it can be close to 23-24 Celsius. 5 mm wetsuit with hoody isn’t a bad idea!
Project was very nice and with my own pace I am more than happy with the end results. I delivered over 150 photos for them and two short videos – one of them linked here on the bottom.
The post has also gone really well in social media channels. Just through my own photography page in Facebook I’ve reached over 30 000 people in a week.
How to get there?
International flights operate to Denpasar where you can take the ferry from Sanur to Nusa Lembongan. Many operators go daily between Islands – we utilized Scoot Ferries.
